Gutenberg Editor #
The new WordPress block editor (Gutenberg) makes creating content in WordPress easy. It provides an intuitive way to add, edit, and save content without needing to know any HTML code. To start, open up the WordPress dashboard and select the “Posts” tab from the left navigation menu.
Choose the “Add New” Option #
Select the “Add New” option to create a new post. This will open up the Gutenberg editor for you to customize your content.
Edit Post #
Once the Gutenberg editor is open, you can begin editing the post. This includes changing the post title, editing the text content, adding images and media, and more. When you have finished editing, click on the “Publish” button in the top right corner of the page.
Adding an Image #
To add an image to your post, click on the image icon located in the top left of the Gutenberg editor. This will allow you to select an image from your computer and add it to your post. You can then add a caption, description, and link for the image.
Tags & Categories #
Once you have finished editing your post, you can add Tags and Categories for better organization. Tags and categories help visitors to quickly find content related to their interests. To add tags, click on the “Tags” option under the “Post” tab. To add categories, click on the “Categories” option under the “Posts” tab.
Publishing the Post #
Finally, you are ready to publish your post. Click on the “Publish” button in the top right corner of the page and you post will be live. Congratulations! You have now created a blog post in WordPress.
